Industry Tools was created from the roots established by Ferroforma over the last few decades and is now positioned in this first edition as an ideal showcase for industrial products and tools. This is the view of the 343 firms from 22 countries attending the event.
Following in the wake of Ferroforma, exhibitors are coming to Industry Tools with the same expectations as they did years ago. Fernando Zubero, the commercial director of Imcoinsa is very clear about it: “It continues to be the only national top-flight trade show for the hardware and industrial supply sector, with a powerful convening capacity”. Zubero also points out that this “ensures that we receive visits from all of the major firms in the sector”. Imcoinsa is taking part at Industry Tools with its range of Advance compressors and its portfolio of metal and construction drill bits.
“It is important to attend trade fairs like Industry Tools, because it is a meeting point for the sector. It must be borne in mind that the distribution channel in locksmiths is not identified”. This reflection comes from Iván Rodríguez, manager of APECS (Spanish Association of Locksmithing and Security Professionals), who explained that the sector is going through a comfortable time, “with a lot of work“. Rodríguez announced that, during Industry Tools, companies will present the latest developments so that “locksmiths can continue to be the benchmark for the sector”.
Furthermore, apart from the exhibition area, the fair also has an important B2B programme, in which delegates from Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, South Africa and Tunisia, among others, will take part, giving the format a clear international profile. Likewise, the main sectorial associations and manufacturing groups and users have also organised their own programme, taking advantage of the Industry Tools framework. For example, the APECS Area has been created, which will feature technical workshops on locksmithing and security, as well as the Industry Genius area, coordinated by the fair and Inventos Eureka, which will showcase the latest industrial inventions. In addition, the women’s association of the hardware and industrial supply sector, Masif, will be presented at BEC.
